Refund policy
All sales are final. We accept payment by Interac e-Transfer only. All orders placed with MAD • MAYKER are final and are not eligible for cancellation, return, exchange, refund, or price adjustment, except as expressly set out below for orders confirmed to have been damaged or lost in transit, or confirmed to be defective. By placing an order and sending payment, you acknowledge and agree to this policy in full, including the other policies linked within. Please read every section carefully before ordering — sections of this document limit MAD • MAYKER's liability and limit refunds and replacements.
To ensure we can best assist, you must report any problem with a delivered order — including but not limited to a missing item from a delivered order, a damaged item, a defective item, or an incorrect item — no later than 5 business days of delivery, by emailing or using the chat widget at the bottom-right of our site. Reporting deadlines for packages that have not been delivered are set out in our Shipping Policy.
Retain all packaging, including shipping labels and outer shipping cartons, until you have confirmed your entire order has been received in good order. We are unable to process any claim for in-transit damage, loss, or a missing item if any packaging or shipping label has been discarded or destroyed.
Payment
We accept payment by Interac e-Transfer only. We do not accept credit cards, debit cards, Shop Pay, PayPal, "buy now, pay later" services, or any other payment method. When you place an order you will receive instructions for sending payment.
No Cancellations
Orders cannot be cancelled once placed. We are unable to process cancellations, including for orders that have not yet shipped. Distributor and/or wholesale orders are firm once placed and may not be cancelled.
No Returns
We do not accept returns. This applies to all products, opened or unopened, in any condition. Products sent back to us without authorization are considered forfeited and will not be refunded or credited.
No Exchanges
We do not offer exchanges, swaps, or substitutions of any kind. Please review product descriptions carefully — and reach out via our chat widget or at with any questions — before placing your order.
No Price Adjustments
All orders are charged at the price and with the discounts in effect at the time the order is placed. We do not offer price adjustments, price matching, or retroactive discounts. If an item is later offered at a lower price, or a sale or promotion later begins or deepens, prior orders are not eligible for an adjustment, credit, or partial refund of the difference. Discount codes and promotions must be applied at checkout and cannot be applied after an order is placed. Promotional pricing cannot be combined with other offers unless expressly stated.
In-Transit Damage and Loss
Orders confirmed to have been damaged or lost in transit may be eligible for a replacement or a refund of the affected item(s), at our sole discretion, provided you follow the procedures and timelines set out in our Shipping Policy. A carrier "delivered" scan is conclusive — we do not provide a refund, replacement, credit, or any other remedy for theft, "porch piracy," misdelivery, or non-receipt of any package that shows a carrier delivery scan. Failure to follow the procedures in our Shipping Policy — including discarding packaging or shipping labels, refusing delivery, or reporting outside the stated window — voids eligibility. Claims for Defective Items
MAD • MAYKER has stringent quality-control processes in place. Due to the nature of our products, results may vary based on individual technique, experience, and skill, and such variation does not constitute a defect. If you believe a product is defective, contact us at to discuss. If we confirm a product is in fact defective, we will, at our sole discretion, provide a replacement (subject to stock availability), store credit, or a refund for the affected item. Where we are unable to determine whether a product is defective, we may, where appropriate, provide a return shipping label so the product can be sent to us for inspection and testing. If we then determine, at our sole discretion, that the product is defective, you will receive a remedy as described above; if we determine the product is within quality specifications, you may have the product shipped back to you at an additional cost, and no refund or credit will be issued.
Final-Sale Items
All items are sold on a final-sale basis and are non-returnable and non-refundable. This includes, without limitation, all regular and sale items, bundles, pre-order items, backorder items, lengthened-shipping items, digital products, gift cards, and distributor and/or wholesale orders.
